Getting here
Half a mile of unmade track, and that is the worst of it
Every car manages it. The passing places are real passing places. If you would rather not, the bus stops at the lane end twice a day and we will fetch you.
By car
Leave the coast road at the white gate and follow the track for half a mile. It is unmade, it has passing places, and it has one dip that holds water after rain and has never stopped anybody. Six parking spaces in the yard, first come. There is more room on the verge by the gate if the yard is full.
By bus
Twice a day to the lane end, morning and late afternoon. Tell us which one and somebody will be there. It is a twenty minute walk otherwise and perfectly pleasant except in a westerly.
The causeway
The walk to the point crosses the causeway and it is passable either side of low water and not at all in between. That is not a suggestion and it is not weather dependent. The tide board by the boot room is the one to read. Phones are often an hour out here and the water is not.
Arriving and leaving
Check in from three. If you are later than eight, say so and we will leave a key and a light on. Check out by half past ten, and the boot room stays open all day if you want a walk before you drive.
